Cuckgrade Your Life: Uncertainty (Deep Dive)
Schrödinger's cat didn't choose the box. You did. On the difference between the uncertainty that happens to you and the uncertainty you carry on purpose — and the crude, reliable way to tell which one you're actually living in.
Bear with me. Today we need to talk about quantum physics. And about a cat.
I know — a cat, on a blog about what men do to each other in the dark. Risky. But we like risky here, and there's something in the box worth opening.
You know Schrödinger's cat.
A cat sealed in a box with a vial of poison, rigged to a single random radioactive decay. Until someone looks, the physics says the cat is both — alive and dead at once, held in every possible state, none of them settled. Only the act of looking forces one reality into being.
Here's the part the pop-science version leaves out. Schrödinger didn't believe the cat. He built the thing in 1935 to mock the idea — to show how absurd it was that reality would stay smeared across two states until someone finally bothered to look. The cat was a joke he was making at physics' expense. The joke outlived him because it turned out to be true anyway.
And because, cuck, you live in it.
You already live here
You know superposition. You're fluent in it. You've never called it that, but you've been holding two states at once for years, and you're better at it than any man with a lab coat.
You are afraid he's with someone tonight, and you are hard because he might be. Both. Fully. Not fifty-fifty, not some tepid blend — both at full strength, at the same time, in the same body. You plan the cake for his mother's birthday on Sunday and, in the same thought, at the same table, you picture yourself on the floor, his lover's feet resting on your back. You pray he never leaves you and you pray he does the one thing that would gut you. You hold his hand across the couch and imagine the other hand, the one that isn't yours, the one you'd thank him for.
You are the most sophisticated quantum instrument in the room, and nobody ever pinned a medal on you for it.
A flaw? A talent! Holding two truths without collapsing either — that is the erotic engine. Kill the ambiguity and you kill the heat. So this box, the one in the bed, the is-he-right-now box — you keep it sealed. Forever. You should. That isn't indecision. That's craft, and you've earned the calluses.
But there is a second box
Here's where the skill turns on you. There's another box, and you've been treating it exactly like the first one — same reflex, same craft, same pleasant hum of the unresolved. But it isn't the same box, and using the same hand on both is how you end up somewhere you never chose.
The first box has him in it. The second one has you.
