Refund Policy

Navigating Compersion publishes free editorial content, offers the Inner Circle as a subscription on Fanvue, and operates The Vesper Room, a web application currently open only to existing members.

Free Content
Part of this site is freely accessible without payment: the Monday pieces, The Library, the Coming Out Guide and its downloads. Nothing is charged for these, and nothing is refundable.

Inner Circle Membership (via Fanvue)
Membership is billed monthly through Fanvue (Fanvue Ltd, United Kingdom), which acts as the payment provider.

You can cancel at any time in your Fanvue account. Cancellation stops all future payments. Access remains until the end of the period you have already paid for — you are not cut off mid-month.

Because payments are processed by Fanvue, refunds are handled under Fanvue's own refund and dispute policies. Contact Fanvue first. If your issue is with the content rather than with the payment, write to me directly and I will sort it out — see below.

Right of Withdrawal (EU consumers)
As a consumer in the EU you normally have the right to withdraw from a contract for digital content within 14 days.

Because the subscription contract is concluded with Fanvue, the right of withdrawal is governed by Fanvue's terms. If you have subscribed and have not yet opened any Inner Circle content, you can also write to hello@navigating-compersion.com within 14 days and I will help.

The Vesper Room
The Vesper Room is currently open only to members who had access before October 2026. It is not sold and is not part of the Fanvue subscription, so there is no charge and no refund. The application is under active development and provided as-is.

If something doesn't work
If a PDF in the Inner Circle doesn't open, if a download here is broken, or — for existing members — if the archive or your Vesper Room code doesn't work: write to hello@navigating-compersion.com.

I will fix it. Please try this before raising a dispute with your bank — a chargeback bans your Fanvue account automatically and takes your access with it, which is almost never what anyone wanted.

Before you subscribe
The Coming Out Guide is free and complete, including the PDF and the audio version. Read that first. If it isn't for you, don't subscribe.
